Preface:

This is a very good internal and external lubricant cum mild heat stabiliser. It is non-toxic and gives faster extrusion with smooth finish, by reducing the internal friction of the PVC in processing, reducing the effective melt viscosity and frictional heat build-up from inter-particle friction during extrusion of rigid products. Calcium Stearate is particularly effective in emulsion-type polymers.

Applications:

Calcium Stearate is widely used in PVC Compounds for Shoes, Wires and Cables, Transparent tubings and sleevings, Krishi hoses, Rigid pipes and fittings, Conduits, Leather cloth etc. It is generally used alone or alongwith lubricants such as Dibasic Lead Stearate, Lead Stearate, Ester Waxes, Stearic Acid and with Stabilisers such as Tin, Barium Cadmium, Zinc complex, Tribasic Lead Sulphate, Dibasic Lead Phthalate, Dibasic Lead Phosphite, etc., without any side effects.
Usage: The quantity recommended is approximately 0.30 phr to 1.0 phr depending on quality and quantity of ingredients such as Resin, Plasticisers, Fillers, Pigments, Stabilisers and such other additives as also machine conditions.
Packing: 25 kgs net in laminated HDPE bags with inner liner and Navy Blue branding.
